Certificate in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 – recertification audit
On 17 July 2026 a combined recertification audit was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
The audit was conducted at the Čakovec site and the Josipdol site.
Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body, and new certificates in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards will be issued, valid until 2029.
CERTIFICATE FOR PREVENTIVE AND MOBILE MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS – VPI-EMG
On 8 and 9 July 2026 the audit team of VPI EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE GMBH examined whether Rail Factory d.o.o. has the appropriate technical and organisational arrangements in place in accordance with the requirements of the VPI European Maintenance Guide (VPI-EMG) for preventive maintenance at the Josipdol workshop.
Following the audit, VPI EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE GMBH will issue Rail Factory d.o.o. the CERTIFICATE FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS ACCORDING TO THE VPI EUROPEAN MAINTENANCE GUIDE (VPI-EMG).
TUV NORD Systems welder certification
On 30 June 2026 welder certification was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD Adriatic d.o.o.
The employees of Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body and were issued new certificates in accordance with the HRN EN ISO 3834-2 standard, valid until June 2029.
The Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic of the Republic of Croatia ISSUED Rail Factory d.o.o. THE CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS, third level of maintenance, including mobile maintenance
Following the audit conducted on 5 and 8 May 2026, the ECM audit team of the Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic determined that the maintenance workshop taking over the preventive maintenance delivery function of Rail Factory d.o.o. at the Josipdol site meets the requirements and criteria in accordance with Annex II of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779.
On 15 May 2026 the Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic of the Republic of Croatia issued Rail Factory d.o.o. the CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS, third level of maintenance, including mobile maintenance.
This authorisation confirms the acceptance of the maintenance system within the European Union in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779, for a period of two years.
TUV NORD Systems audit and issuing of the HRN EN ISO 15085-2 certificate
On 21 April 2026 an audit was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG.
Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body, and a new certificate in accordance with the HRN EN ISO 15085-2 standard will be issued, valid until April 2029.
The Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic of the Republic of Croatia ISSUED Rail Factory d.o.o. THE CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS, performance of maintenance (2026)
Following the audit conducted on 24 February and 3 March 2026, the ECM audit team of the Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic determined that the maintenance workshop taking over the maintenance delivery function (Rail Factory d.o.o.) meets the requirements and criteria in accordance with Annex II of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779.
On 10 March 2026 the Agency for the Safety of Railway Traffic of the Republic of Croatia issued Rail Factory d.o.o. the DECISION CONFIRMING THE CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS – MAINTENANCE DELIVERY, EIN HR/32/0023/0001.
This authorisation confirms the acceptance of the maintenance system within the European Union in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779, for a period of five years.
Rail Factory d.o.o. is a company providing repair and maintenance services for railway vehicles and wagons. We specialise in the repair of freight wagons and tank wagons and in the reconstruction of special wagons. Rail Factory d.o.o. holds all the certificates required for these activities. Our welders are trained to produce all types of structures and hold all the required certificates.

After the audit conducted on February 13, February 15 and February 17, 2023, the audit team for ECM of the Railway Safety Agency determined that the maintenance workshop that takes over the function of performing maintenance (Rail Factory d.o.o.) meets the requirements and criteria in accordance with Annex II.Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019 /779.On February 24, 2023, the Agency for Railway Traffic Safety of the Republic of Croatia to Rail Factory d.o.o.ISSUED CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS, performance of maintenance.This authorization confirms the acceptance of the maintenance system within the European Union in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/798 of the European Parliament and of the Council and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779 for a period of five years.
Since July 2021, the mobile team of Rail Factory d.o.o. is capable of replacing axle assemblies of freight wagons in the field.
Certificate HRN EN ISO 3834-2
On August 23, 2021, an audit was conducted by the Certification Body TUW NORD Adriatic d.o.o.
Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the requirements of the certification body and a new certificate was issued in accordance with the standard HRN EN ISO 3834-2 with a validity until August 26, 2023.
