Our goal as a company is to obtain, as quickly as possible, the certificates that prove our system works successfully and to a high standard.

VPI - EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE

Following the audit, on 08.09.2023 VPI EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE GMBH issued Rail Factory d.o.o. the CERTIFICATE FOR MOBILE MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS UNDER THE VPI EUROPEAN MAINTENANCE GUIDE (VPI-EMG).

CERTIFICATE FOR PREVENTIVE AND MOBILE MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS – VPI-EMG

On 08 and 09 July 2026 the audit team of VPI EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE GMBH examined whether Rail Factory d.o.o. has the technical and organisational arrangements required by the VPI European Maintenance Guide (VPI-EMG) for preventive maintenance at the Josipdol workshop. Following the audit, VPI EUROPEAN RAIL SERVICE GMBH will issue Rail Factory d.o.o. the CERTIFICATE FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE OF FREIGHT WAGONS UNDER THE VPI EUROPEAN MAINTENANCE GUIDE (VPI-EMG).

CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY – THIRD MAINTENANCE LEVEL, INCLUDING MOBILE MAINTENANCE

Following the audit of 05 and 08 May 2026, the ECM audit team of the Railway Safety Agency established that the workshop performing preventive maintenance at the Josipdol site meets the requirements and criteria of Annex II to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779. On 15 May 2026 the Agency issued the Certificate of Conformity for maintenance functions, third maintenance level, including mobile maintenance, for a term of two years.

CERTIFICATE ISO 9001:2015

Quality management system, globally accepted to demonstrate the ability to meet quality requirements and improve customer satisfaction in a customer-supplier relationship.

CERTIFICATE ISO 14001:2015

The environmental management system contributes to the expansion of the company's operations to areas that are not only related to the customer and the suitability of the product / service, but also to environmental impacts, reduction of pollution, waste and energy consumption.

HRN EN ISO 3834-2 CERTIFICATE

HRN EN ISO 3834-2 certificates prove that the company is authorised for welding processes in the manufacture of new vehicles, in the repair and maintenance of existing vehicles, and for the testing of welded joints.

HRN EN ISO 15085-2 CERTIFICATE

HRN EN ISO 15085-2 certificates demonstrate that the company is authorised for welding processes in vehicle manufacture, in the repair and maintenance of existing vehicles, and for the testing of welded joints. On 21.04.2026 an audit was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD Systems GmbH & Co. KG. Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body.

CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY FOR MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS – MAINTENANCE DELIVERY (2026)

Following the audit of 24 February and 3 March 2026, the ECM audit team of the Railway Safety Agency established that the maintenance workshop taking on the maintenance delivery function (Rail Factory d.o.o.) meets the requirements and criteria of Annex II to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/779. On 10 March 2026 the Agency issued the Decision confirming the Certificate of Conformity for maintenance functions – maintenance delivery, EIN HR/32/0023/0001, for a term of five years.

ISO 9001:2015 AND ISO 14001:2015 RECERTIFICATION

On 17.07.2026 a combined recertification audit was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, at the Čakovec site and the Josipdol site. Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body and new certificates will be issued, valid until 2029.

RISK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We have implemented a Risk Management System. The authorisations we hold — the ECM certificate of conformity and the authorisation under the VPI European Maintenance Guide (VPI-EMG) — cover work as a mobile workshop and as a workshop for preventive maintenance of freight wagons and tank wagons.

NDT TESTS (MT, PT, VT)

Certificate for NDT tests (MT, PT, VT), TÜV NORD Group certificate for mobile pressure equipment - inspection and testing of tank in operation in accordance with EN 286-3, periodic inspection of mobile pressure equipment in accordance with RID.

CERTIFICATE FOR TESTING BRAKES - HOZJAN DRAŽEN

Rail Factory d.o.o. also holds a brake testing certificate issued by the Knorr-Bremse Group.

HRN-EN ISO 9712:2021 - RENATO FRANČIĆ

Certification of personnel for non-destructive testing.

WELDING ENGINEER CERTIFICATE AND ULTRASONIC WELD TESTING

The company holds an international welding engineer certificate, certificates for qualified welders and for inspectors of ultrasonic weld testing, as well as numerous approvals for returning to service every wagon it repairs, maintains or manufactures.

WELDER QUALIFICATION

On 30.06.2026 welder qualification testing was carried out by the certification body TUV NORD Adriatic d.o.o. The employees of Rail Factory d.o.o. met all the conditions set by the certification body and new certificates were issued to them in accordance with HRN EN ISO 3834-2, valid until June 2029.
